- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Great little spot with multiple different kinds of sites. You can camp pretty much on the beach, or hide yourself back in the trees. Washrooms and laundry are very clean and well-kept. Main entrance has a small store with all of the essentials. Memorable spot to camp!By Eric Petersen, June 23, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Owner/camp manager is a rude hag - place is a hole! I agree with one of the previous reviews. There is no sign saying this is now private property ...there are however signs asking you to stop ( similar to what you would see entering prison property) but it is not clear where you are supposed to go to "report to the warden". The owner sits on the deck of her trailer smoking a cigarette and asking if you "can't read the sign" (apparently she is too stupid to know that if you want to rent out camping spots people would like to drive through and have a quick look first). She was all bent out of shape that we did not stop and ask for permission to spend less than five minutes driving around the campsite...serious control issues and beyond horrible customer service. If you are that serious about keeping people out then place an armed guard in a tower at the entrance.. or better yet why don't you put an electric fence up or some nasty razor wire? You have to wonder why she is even in business… Maybe she is merely the camp manager (toilet scrubber) and if she is, I hope the owners realize they are not doing themselves any favours by having her in charge. Don't expect people to wander onto your deck (which you think is an office)...news flash...It doesn't look like an office it looks like someone's private property (kids playing and people sitting around) so why would anyone go walking up there? As far as the campsite goes it looks like a swamp anyway and there is no maintained beach… Don't waste your time and money… Especially if you have to deal with a rude, uneducated owner/camp manager like this one!By DJ S, January 27, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Nice camping for RV great for kids has no Beach has a playground and a store and showers good ratesBy Patrick Eberle, September 17, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Very rude owner Went there (many times before) just to see the lake, use the swing sets. But this time was confronted by an incredibly rude owner who could have very easily just told us the rules have changed and that it is no longer public but instead came at us in aggressive manner instead. And spoke to us like we were stupid. Maybe change the front sign and make it KNOWN that this is a private place. Too bad. Too rude. Never going to go there again and certainly will never recommend.By Vic Anna, September 13, 2016
